TREKKING IN THE HIGH TATRAS

Character of the mountain range: the highest Slovak mountains in the north of the country (border with Poland) – the smallest Alpine type mountain range in the world; forests, mountain streams, waterfalls, dwarf-pine, rocky peaks, terraces;
Trekking paths are mostly stone pavements, trekking/climbing to the peaks may be supported by iron chains.
Other activities available in the area: rafting, paragliding, bicycles, climbing with instructor, aqua park in Poprad (thermal water, outdoor and indoor relaxation pools, swimming pool, saunas), sightseeing, cultural evening (folk musicians, classic music septet).
